Afon Wen

For the village in Flintshire, see Afon-wen.

Afon Wen is a small hamlet on the Lleyn Peninsula in the Welsh principal area of Gwynedd. It was formerly a junction station on the Cambrian Coast Line but it was closed when the Carnarvonshire Railway line to Caernarfon closed in 1965. It is located at the mouth of a short river half a mile from the village of Chwilog and midway between Pwllheli and Criccieth.
