Anthony G. Brown



Anthony G. Brown (born November 21, 1961, in Huntington, New York) is an American politician. He is a delegate representing District 25 (part of Prince George's County) in the Maryland General Assembly. He is Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley's running mate in the Maryland 2006 gubernatorial elections.

Biography

Brown graduated from Harvard University in 1984 with a B.A. degree in government. He served as an aviation officer in the United States Army from 1984 to 1989. He has been in the United States Army Reserve since 1989.

Member of House of Delegates (1/13/1999 - present).
*Majority Whip, 2004-present.
*Member, Judiciary Committee, 2003- (vice-chair, 2003-04)
*Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics, 2000-present.
