Aragh Sagi
Aragh Sagi is a type of
alcoholic drink in
Iran. Usually home brewed and sold at a profitable price.
Aragh refers to a set of aromatic liquids that are produced from herbs and seeds by
distillation, for example
mint or
anise. In the context of alcoholic drinks then it is produced from
raisins. People usually are clear about the type of Aragh in
Persian (e.g. aragh from anise or aragh of mint). If it is not specified it is possibly referring to aragh of raisins. Aragh Sagi is also referring to the Aragh from raisins.
Sag means dog in
Persian and Sagi means doggy.
