Area codes in Austria

To call an Austrian phone number from outside Austria, you will need to dial: International access code + 43 (country code) + area Code + Telephone Number.

If calling a phone number within an other area from inside Austria, you need to dial 0 + area code + phone number.

If calling a phone within the same area code, you do not need to dial an area code.

If calling from a mobile phone, you always need to dial 0 + area code + phone number, even if calling a number of the same mobile network.
