Jordan White (Duval) and Amy Blue (McGowan) are punk-rock lovers who pick up a handsome drifter named Xavier Red (Schaech) while driving home from a club. A late night stop at a convenience store leaves the three on the run when they accidentally trigger a homicidal rampage that leaves the store owner (played by Dustin Nguyen) and his entire family slaughtered.
Hiding out in a cheap motel the three go on the lam from the law. Amy begins having a sexual relationship with Xavier even though the two do not get along. Eventually Jordan finds out, and things get tense yet intriguing as the two guys obviously have a lingering sexual attraction for one another.
As they journey across small town U.S.A. the trio continue to get into situations of intentional violence, often because Amy is constantly being mistaken for another woman whom she apparently resembles. Eventually the three spend the night in an abandoned barn where they are attacked by skinhead nazis. Amy is raped and Jordan is castrated and killed, leaving Amy and Xavier to aimlessly drive off into the sunset.
