Barningham, Suffolk

Barningham is a village and civil parish in the St Edmundsbury district of Suffolk, England, about twelve miles north-east of Bury St Edmunds itself. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 928. it has a primery school oppisite a nice local pub called the Royal George, theres a shop with a post office, further down the road is St Andrews church.

Michael Lingwood wrote a history of the village from around 1086 to the modern day, titled "Our Own People" and published by Beorn Books.
