Beryl Ingham



Beryl Ingham Born in Haslingden Lancashire in 1901 died 24th December 1960 was a dancer and actress, who became George Formby's wife and manager.

When she met George in 1923, she was working with her sister, May, as a clog-dancing act called The Two Violets. They married the following year, they then worked together on stage until 1932, she later appeared in some of his films. Beryl continued to manage his career until her death from leukemia in 1960.
