Best Buddies International
Best Buddies International is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with
intellectual disabilities.
Founded in
1989 by
Anthony Kennedy Shriver, it has grown to include more than 1,200 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally. Programs include one-to-one friendship matching between people with and without intellectual disabilities, e-Buddies an e-mail pen pal program, and others.
