Beta Leporis (β Lep / β Leporis) is a star in the constellation Lepus. It also has the traditional name Nihal.

Beta Leporis has apparent magnitude +2.81 and is 159.2 light years from Earth. It is a yellow supergiant of spectral class G5II with 150 times the luminosity of the Sun.
