The
Blood Pack is a
fictional group of vampires featured in the
2002 film
Blade II directed by
Guillermo del Toro. In the film, Blade is approached by the vampires to deal with a potential problem in
Jared Nomak, the carrier of a new form of the vampire virus dubbed the
Reaper Strain. To assist him, Blade is given command of the Blood Pack, who had been previously training for two years to hunt Blade himself. The group is comprised of 8 members, all of which are vampires. They are: Reinhardt (
Ron Perlman), Nyssa Damaskinos (
Leonor Varela), Chupa (
Matt Schulze), Asad (
Danny John-Jules), Snowman (
Donnie Yen), Verlaine (
Marit Velle Kile), Priest (
Tony Curran) and Lighthammer (
Daz Crawford). When they first meet Blade there is obviously some mistrust, an attitude that only intensifies as they battle Nomak and the Reapers. After Priest is killed and several attempts to track and destroy Nomak have failed, Chupa suggests that they just kill Blade and go after the Reapers on their own. Eventually, all of the members of the Bloodpack are killed by the end of the film.
