Bonnyrigg

Bonnyrigg is a town in Midlothian, Scotland, eight miles (13 kilometres) southeast of Edinburgh city centre. Sometimes known as 'Boomtown' among certain inhabitants, an informal name. Bonnyrigg south ward had a population of 6,884 and Bonnyrigg north 4,376 in the 1991 census.Nightlife: There are serveral pubs, including The Chase, The Anvil and The Royal Oak. The latter has occaisional live music, and a quiz night every other Tuesday.

There is currently a large building project underway, which will stretch from the 'Cockpen' area of the town to nearly as far as Rosewell.
