Broad Hinton and Winterbourne Bassett
Broad Hinton and Winterbourne Bassett is a
parish council area comprising the adjacent
civil parishes of
Broad Hinton and
Winterbourne Bassett, in the
English county of
Wiltshire.
Two two parishes elect a parish council as if they were one parish with an elected council, as they would otherwise be too small. The parish falls within the areas of
Kennet District Council and
Wiltshire County Council. All three councils are responsible for different aspects of local government.
In the census of 2002, the population of the parishes was 790.
