CONTROL

CONTROL was a fictional Intelligence agency of the United States of America federal government from the 1960s TV comedy series Get Smart.

It fought for the security of the free world from the evil KAOS organization. Its star agent was "Agent 86" Maxwell Smart, assisted by Agent 99 (who was not otherwise named). The head of CONTROL was called the Chief (during Maxwell Smart's time, the Chief's real first name was Thaddeus, whose original CONTROL identity was Agent Q).

No mention was ever made of what the initials in CONTROL stood for; CONTROL is the opposite of chaos and is spelled like COINTELPRO.
