Dalal Street

Dalal Street (Hindi: दलाल - Dalāl means a broker or dealer) in downtown Mumbai, India is the location of the Bombay Stock Exchange (in the Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers, at the intersection of Dalāl Street, Bombay Samāchār Marg and Hammam Street) and many related financial firms and institutions. Similar to Wall Street in New York City, its name is often used as a synonym for the Indian financial establishment in general.
