David Parlett

David Parlett is a card games specialist. His "Oxford Guide to Card Games" is a study of the history of card games. David also invented a number of board games, the most successful of which is Hare and Tortoise (1974). The German edition was awarded Spiel des Jahres (game of the year) in 1978.

His activities include writing, inventing and consulting.
