Deluge (film)

Deluge (1933) an apocalyptic science fiction film about a group of worldwide natural disasters which lead to the destruction of the earth. When a series of earthquakes destroy the Pacific coast of the United States, causing a massive tidal wave, which heads toward New York City. The wave leaves New York submerged in water and nearly everybody in the city drowns. This later inspired a scene in The Day After Tomorrow (2004).

This film was thought to be lost but an Italian release of it was found in the late 1980's.
