Esmeralda is Spanish for emerald.

*Esmeralda County, Nevada, a county in western Nevada, USA.
*Esmeralda, Cuba, a city in Cuba.
*Esmeralda (ship), several ships named Esmeralda belonging to the Spanish Navy and Chilean Navy, including the currently in-service BE-43 Esmeralda (infamous for its role during the Pinochet's regime).
*Esmeralda (orchid), a genus of flower in the family Orchidaceae.
*Esmeralda, one of the main characters of the 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo.
