Ethereal could refer to:
*Ethereal oils, concentrated, hydrophobic liquids containing volatile aromatic compounds extracted from plants.
*Ethereal (horse), which won Australia's Caulfield Cup in 2001.
*Ethereal (software), a network traffic analyzer.
*Wireshark, a network traffic analyzer based on Ethereal. It was created when creator and lead developer Gerald Combs moved to a new job and could not come to an agreement with his former employer (which held the Ethereal trademark) to allow him to keep the trademark.
