Foston, Lincolnshire

Foston is a small village in Lincolnshire, six miles northwest of Grantham, just off the A1.

Foston is mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book as 'Foztun'.St Peter's Church in Foston dates back to the 10th century and is a Grade 2 listed building.

On the northbound A1 there is a Little Chef and Texaco Star Foston garage. The A1 used to go through the village. On Newark Hill is the Coopers Arms pub.
