Gedney, Lincolnshire

Gedney is one of a group of small villages south of Boston, Lincolnshire, straddling the A17 Boston to Kings Lynn Road, bearing the name 'Gedney'; the others are Gedney Church End, Gedney Drove End, Gedney Dyke, Gedney Dawsmere, Gedney Hill and Gedney Broadgate. The parishes of Gedney lie on reclaimed fenland, making it one of the most intensive growing areas in the UK.
