Coppertone.
The Company was founded by
Ron Rice in
1969. It is the largest private manufacturer of sun care products in the
United States.
They have sponsored
bikini competitions for women around the country and the world every year to seek out
spokesmodels with beautiful faces, exceptional figures and flawless tans for their products. Many winners of these competitions have been modelling since and have appeared in advertising campaigns, swimwear and lingerie catalogs. Some of the winners have posed nude in the pages of
Playboy.
