Hiraiwa Chikayoshi

(1542-1611) was a trusted retainer under Tokugawa Ieyasu.

It is known that Chikayoshi was a tutor to the eldest son of Ieyasu, Matsuraida Nobuyasu. Chikayoshi fought at the Battle of Nagashino, in the year of 1575, as well as with the expedition against the Sanada clan during the year of 1585. During the year of 1590 in the Kozuke Province, Chikayoshi was rewarded a 30,000-koku fief.
