Jackie Woodburne

Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kinski in Neighbours.

Jackie Woodburne (born 5 February 1957, in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Northern Ireland) is an Australian actress. She has been in many of Australia's most popular television soap operas, such as Sons and Daughters, A Country Practice and The Young Doctors (Maggie Gordon).

However, her most memorable roles are Julie Egbert in Prisoner, whom she played from 1985-1986, and Susan Kennedy (later Smith, now Kinski) in Neighbours, whom she has played since 1994.

In 2005, Woodburne was nominated for the Best Female Performance in a Soap Opera award at the Rose d'Or television festival.

She is an honorary member of the Junior Common Room of St Hilda's College, Oxford and the character of Susan Kennedy was recently granted honorary membership of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. She has been reported to be in a long-term same-sex relationship but has not confirmed this.
