Jamie Murphy (Space guitarist)

Jamie Murphy (December 23, 1975) is a musician from Liverpool, best known for being the former lead guitarist of the group Space, whom he also co-founded. After leaving the group in 2002, he started a new group called Firehead.

Murphy was well known for writing the "raw" songs during his time in Space. He almost split the band in 1997 when he suffered a nervous breakdown. Murphy was also the youngest member of the group, as he was only 17 when Space started.
