John Newland

John Newland (* November 23, 1917 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; died January 10, 2000 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, USA) was a US director, actor, film producer and script writer.

John Newland acted in 104 episodes of several TV series, among them:
* "Studio One"
* "Robert Montgomery Presents"
* "General Electric Theater"
* "Dr. Kildare"

He also was a TV series director:
* "Thriller"
* "Star Trek: The Original Series"
* "Police Woman"
* "Whiz Kids"

John Newland also created the TV series "The Man Who Never Was".

He died of a stroke.

During the Years 1959, 1960 and 1961, John Newlandwas the host of the Paranormal-Based televisionseries "One Step Beyond", as well asit's short-lived counterpart "The Next Step Beyond"in 1978
