Kalamaki

Kalamaki is an alternative name for souvlaki, with the name derived from "κάλαμος" (kalamos) meaning reed. It is also the name of several Greek towns, namely:
* Kalamaki, a village in the northwestern part of the Achaea prefectureΚαλαμάκι,
* Kalamaki, a resort town on the island of Zakynthos
* Kalamaki, a part of Agyia and a subdivision of Patras
* Kalamaki (also called Alimos), a suburb of Athens, at the Saronic Golf, between Palaio Faliro and Elliniko

Moreover, it is the ancient name - up to 1925 - of the Turkish town of Kalkan.
