* "Shippu" means "Violent Wind" (or "Gale") in Japanese.
* "Zwei" means "Two" in
German.
* As the name implies, Knight is a melee-range Kamen Rider designed for chivalrous 1-on-1 combat. His armor is rather simplistic compared to the other riders. The only weapons Knight uses are either his rapier (which is also his card-reader) or his Sword Advent, which resembles a short-lance. Aside from DarkWing, Knight lacks any sort of far-range weaponry. He only has a cape while DarkWing is mounted onto his back, usually for his Final Advent "Flying Death" which involves being wrapped up in his cape and slamming into the enemy like a drill. Once he obtains the Survive Advent from Tezuka (Kamen Rider Raia), he still uses his sword, but his Final Advent changes DarkWing into a motorcycle, which blasts the enemies just before ramming into them. ナイト could also mean "Night" as his color scheme reflects nighttime and his Monster's motif is based on a nocturnal creature.
* Cold loner, fights constantly and is frequently unemployed, but slowly comes to return Shinji's constant offers of friendship, is crushed when he dies
* His prize is to give his girlfriend, Eri Aikawa, a full recovery, who has been in a mysterious coma ever since an encounter with Dark Wing. Ren then contracted with Dark Wing and became Kamen Rider Knight
* Killed the first and second Kamen Rider Odin
* Was declared the winner of the Kamen Rider war after Odin's surrender and gave the power to his girlfriend to awaken her.
* In the TV Special, he pushed Ryuki out of the way and took Verde's Death Vanish Final Vent. He shook the damage long enough to kill Verde with his Flying Death Final Vent. Shortly, he died on Shinji's arms after giving him the Knight deck.
* Concerning Knight's death in the 13 Riders Special, Kamen Rider Raia died in a similar manner in the series, pushing Ryuki out of the way to receive the Final Vent. Coincidentally, he was killed by the very Rider Knight saved Ryuki from the Final Vent: Verde.
