This is a discography for
English Piano rock band
Keane, containing all official releases since
February 2000.
Keane's first official release is the single
Call Me What You Like in
February 2000, sold only at the pubs around London where Keane used to play. There are only 500 copies of this CD.The next year,
Wolf at the Door was released. Each one of the 50 copies was hand-made and recorded on
CD-Rs. This rare single is valued in around £1000[
1].Following singles were released to music shops, excepting the cover single
The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore, which was recorded for the
War Child website for download there. Later was gifted as a 1000 copies limited edition
7" Vinyl for some fans on the messageboard.
In
August 21 2006 is due to be released a
CD Single for
Crystal Ball, song that appears on the second studio album
Under the Iron Sea.
Everybody's Changing

Everybody's Changing was Keane's first hit and the song that allow them to sign with
Fierce Panda and later with
Island Records. It was one of biggest hits through
2004. Despite the release didn't reached top 4, it was one of the main singles on
Hopes and Fears. The single was released twice, firstly by Fierce Panda and one year later by Island.

This is, perhaps, Keane's most famous song due to its several appereances on
television. It was the most successful Keane single until
Is It Any Wonder?, reaching the top 3 in UK. It also has been featured on movie trailers and
videogames. Keane haven't given a specific meaning for the song, but it has been related with trees (see main article for details).The song was the first single released on the
Hopes and Fears era in
February 16 2004. The design of the covers remained until late
2005.
Hopes and Fears
Hopes and Fears is Keane's debut album and also their most successful release to date, with over 5,500,000 copies sold worldwide, number expecting to be succeeded by
Under the Iron Sea (currently sold around 1,000,000).
The five single-album reached the top 1 with 155,373 copies during its first week in the UK. First, third and fifth week remained at number two, tooping on the second, fourth and sixth. It came out from the top ten in its 23th week, returning to top 1 after winning a
Brit Award in its 40th week to finally disappear from the top in its 45th week. However, it remained on the
UK Albums Chart for 72 weeks, reappearing with the release of
Under the Iron Sea.Currently remains at top 54, on its 117th week of sale.
Is It Any Wonder?

Officially the second single from
Under the Iron Sea,
Is It Any Wonder? is Keane's most successful single to date. Released in
May 29 2006, the single quickly reached the top 1 on
iTunes digital shop, and the top 3 on the
UK Singles Chart. This song increased the fame of Keane in the
United States, where some people who didn't like their music started listening to it.
Under the Iron Sea
Released officially in
June 12 2006, the album sold 222,297 during its first week (66,924 more than its predecessor) topping the charts for two weeks. It also topped on 4th place in the USA, being the first really successful Keane release there.
