census of 2000, there were 297 people, 80 households, and 59 families residing in the city. The
population density was 24.2/km² (62.7/mi²). There were 95 housing units at an average density of 7.7/km² (20.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 4.71%

There were 80 households out of which 53.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 35.0% were
married couples living together, 18.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.3% were non-families. 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.71 and the average family size was 4.31.
