hydrographical area that covers parts of
Argentina
,
Brazil
,
Bolivia
,
Paraguay
and
Uruguay
.
The precipitations falling within this area are collected by several rives to finally reach the
Río de la Plata
, many of them through the
Paraná River
and the
Uruguay River
, its two most important
tributaries
.
Among such rivers are the

Bermejo

Salado

Carcarañá
,
Tercero

Cuarto

Iguazú

Salado del Sur

Gualeguay
