Latin peoples

The Latin peoples are those linguistic-cultural groups that speak one of the Romance languages; they are called that because they speak languages descended from Vulgar Latin, not because they supposably descend from the Latins (Ancient Romans), as the overall majority of people speaking a Romance language can't claim such a heritage.

They include, in Latin Europe:
* Andorrans
* Aromanians
* Catalans
* Corsicans
* French
* French Swiss
* Istro-Romanians
* Italians
* Italian Swiss
* Megleno-Romanians or Moglenites
* Monegasques
* Normans
* Occitans
* Portuguese
* Romanians and Moldovans
* Romansh Swiss
* Sammarinese
* Sardinians
* Sicilians
* Spaniards
* Walloons
* Vlachs

and their cultural descendants in the wider world, though mostly in Latin America.
