Lord Ivar Mountbatten

The Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten (born 9 March 1963) is the younger son of David Mountbatten, 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven and Janet Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven (formerly Janet Bryce). He is a younger brother of George Mountbatten, 4th Marquess of Milford Haven.

He is one of the godfathers of Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and his wife, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones.

He married Penelope Anne Vere Thompson, on 23 April 1994 in Clare in Suffolk. They have three daughters:
*Ella Louise Georgina Mountbatten (b. 20 March 1996)
*Alexandra Nada Victoria Mountbatten (b. 8 May1998)
*Louise Xenia Rose Mountbatten (b. 30 July 2002)

They live in the village of Uffculme, Devon.
