Loren Smith

Loren Smith is a fictional character in a series of novels by Clive Cussler. She is a congresswoman from Colorado for the U.S, and is a long time companion to Dirk Pitt, an adventurous special project director for NUMA, also known as the National Underwater and Marine Agency, he undergoes many death-defying missions to save the world and the environment of the seas.Described as having beautiful cinnamon brown hair and a good sense of humor, Loren Smith plays a strong role in quite a few of Cussler's novels. In a later novel, Loren finally weds Dirk Pitt.
