Love Among the Ruins is a made-for-television movie (1975) starring Katharine Hepburn and Sir Laurence Olivier.

Set in Edwardian England, Love Among the Ruins tells the story of Jessica Medlicott (Hepburn), an aging grande dame of the London theater. When Medlicott is accused by a young man of seducing and then abandoning him, she retains the services of the greatest barrister in Britain (Olivier), who turns out to be a former suitor still in love with her.

Love Among the Ruins was the first made-for-television movie directed by film legend George Cukor, who purposely cast Hepburn (a lifelong friend) and Olivier to give his television directorial debut star-power.

The show took home several Emmy Awards, including Hepburn and Olivier for Outstanding Performance, and Cukor for Oustanding Directing.
