*In connection with music, medley represents a series of songs strung together into one longer performance. A medley which is a remixed series is called a megamix, often done for a single artist, or for popular songs from a given year. A medley is also used colloquially to mean any song.
*A medley can also be used to refer to food and other things, such as a fruit or vegetable medley served as a side dish.
