Midnight Panic

Midnight Panic is a rock band in Bakersfield , California founded sometime in 2005 by the former lead singer of Adema, Mark Chavez. They have since been playing shows in Bakersfield and have already launched their debut EP which is available via their website. Since they have surfaced, Midnight Panic have had a rather strong fan following mostly because of Chavez's fans from his days as lead Singer for the rock band Adema

Background

When Mark Chavez left Adema in late 2003 following the release of their second LP, Unstable (album) and a fall out with the band, Marky later on in the year announced that he had started a new band called "State Of Mind". At first it was rumored that Mark had recruited Geno Lenardo and Frank Cavanagh, the guitarist and bassist of the band Filter, but this statement turned out to be false. Later on in the Summer of 2005 it was revealed that Chavez's new band's name was "Midnight Panic". The band features Mike Montano on bass, Peter Shubert on guitar, and Matt Low on drums. Mark then announced on his official website that the band had created a profile on myspace that featured two songs that they had recently finished "Celebrate" and "Give Me One Chance". Almost immediatley, they gathered much attention and a new fan base. Most of the fans were former Adema fans of Mark. Many said how they had missed Chavez's edgy and original voice of Adema and how dissapointed they were with the new lead singer at the time [Luke Caraciolli]]'s softer and more melotic voice. Then on December 23, only a day before Christmas Eve, the band annouced that their debut EP was available for purchase via their official website. These were limited edition EPs that were rather limited in quantity and they sold since then, MP has finished the music video for their first hit "Tonight Is Our Last Night" and have now returned to the studio to finish up work for their debut LP which is slated to be released sometime in 2006.

It has been announced via a blog on their myspace, that Midnight Panic has finished recording 4 new songs which will be available on their upcoming LP.The First of the four tracks recorded to be released in the umpcoming Lp is a song called "Everyday" which was the second song recorded "The 2nd track is called "Everyday" it's about how a town can suck you in and almost kill you, because you need to get out before something bad happens." [1]stated Chavez in a myspace Blog entry.
