MINT - online financial services (credit cards, insuance and loans)

Mint is an online financial services brand and part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Mint offers insurance, unsecured loans and credit cards to uk customers.

In 2003 MINT introduced the innovative MC2 card. The was designed with the bottom right-hand corner removed. The card could not be read by a minority of older machines, but does work in all ATMS. Customers are offered the choice between the MC2 card and a conventionally shaped card. This was the first change to the shape of credit cards in the UK for 37 years.

Additionally, under the banner of MINT +, Mint offers travel services and a wine club.
