Moor Park tube station
Moor Park is a
London Underground station in the
Three Rivers district of
Hertfordshire.
It is at the junction of the
Amersham and
Watford branches of
London Underground's
Metropolitan Line.
Moor Park station is located between
Rickmansworth (towards Amersham),
Croxley (towards Watford) and
Northwood (towards central London) stations.
The station is outside the
Greater London boundary and for the purposes of fare charging is in both
Zone 6 and
Zone A. It lies between
Sandy Lodge Golf Course and
Moor Park. The station has four platforms, two for the Watford service and two for the Amersham service .Despite sharing the track with the Amersham branch, therefore running on the platform, Chiltern Railways trains don't stop there, they stop at the next station on the Amersham branch,

Rickmansworth, passing through here

Watford opened from both Moor Park & Sandy Lodge and
Rickmansworth; extension of electric train services as far as Rickmansworth

25 September1950: station re-named "Moor Park"

1959: Station rebuilt when tracks were quadrupled.
