Mr. Big (Art of Fighting)

 }}
Mr. Big is a boss fighter in Art of Fighting and has also appeared in King of Fighters and "Neo Geo Battle Coliseum" fighting game series'.

History

Art of Fighting

Mr. Big has been involved with the mob for as long as he can remember. He made it big in Southtown, a city as seedy and corrupt as he is. Rather than pay tribute to Geese Howard, boss of all organized crime in town, Mr. Big joined Geese's organization, and quickly rose to become his right-hand man.

While Geese was out of town on business, he left Big in charge. Big secretly feared Takuma Sakazaki, the master of Kyokugenryu Karate, so he ordered the kidnapping of Takuma's daughter, Yuri, and threatened Takuma into working for him. Unfortunately, the plan backfired when Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia fought their way through Southtown's crime to find both of them, beating Big senseless to rescue Yuri and Takuma.

Big pondered informing Geese of the incident upon his return, but Geese soon grew embroiled in a situation involving the Bogard brothers, and Big wisely kept his mouth shut.

The King of Fighters

In 1996, Geese brought Mr. Big and Wolfgang Krauser to The King of Fighters, and revealed that he was after the Orochi power following the tournament's dramatic conclusion. Enraged, Mr. Big had a sniper take a shot at Geese, but the plan failed, and Mr. Big bailed out. Big has not been seen since; he may have escaped Southtown when the Zero Cannon fired on it in 2000.

Trivia

* Although not confirmed, many believe that Mr. Big is also a street pimp. These concerns are brought up by his pre-fight intros where he has two scantly clad women by his side prior to the fight.
* Mr. Big appears as Takuma's unlockable Maniac Striker in the console version of KOF 2000.
* Mr. Big was part of what was probably the most overpowered team (at least canon-wise) in King of Fighters history: the '96 Boss Team, composed of him, Geese Howard and Wolfgang Krauser, the three bosses of SNK's other modern day fighting franchises. Although the team made only one appearance, and only Geese and Mr. Big have been back (and even only as secret characters), it is still one of the most fondly remembered teams in KOF history.
* Mr. Big is slated for his second appearance in the KOF series in the Playstation 2 version of KOFXI.
*Mr.Big makes a cameo appearance in KOF Maximum Impact Parking Lot stage.
*Mr. Big appears in the background of the Italy stage in KOF 2002.
