Named for a sawmill that was built there in 1860, the falls contain a footbridge over the water and a path that continues around Mill Pond. There is also an observation area with benches right below the falls. The park is popular with local residents as a place to walk dogs, jog, and picnic; and hosts the occasional wedding party. It is open year round.
