Ordine Nuovo
Ordine Nuovo (Ital. New Order) was an Italian extreme right terrorist organization founded by
Pino Rauti in
1956. The organization is an faction
Movimento Sociale Italiano (MSI). Pino Rauti was connected to the spiritualist-Evolian current within the MSI, and
Julius Evola had had a profound influence on the organization (Ferraresi 1996, Goodrick-Clarke 2002, Sedgwick 2004).
On
12 December 1969 the
fascist Ordine Nuovo bombed the
Piazza Fontana in Milan, killing 16 and wounding 90. In July
1970 Ordine Nuovo bombed the Rome-Messina train, killing 6 and wounding 100. In May 1974 eight activists were killed in
Brescia when an
anti-fascist march was
hand-grenaded by Ordine Nuovo.
The
Nuclei Armati Rivoluzionari (Ital. Armed Revolutionary Nuclei) was an off-shoot of Ordine Nuovo, whose members Giusva Fioravanti and Francesca Mambro were responsible for the 1980 bombing of the Bologna main train station which killed 85 people.
Stefano Delle Chiaie was the ARN architect of the
Bologna massacre.
