Paysandú Department is a
department of
Uruguay. Its capital is
Paysandú. Paysandú is home to a large Uruguayan brewery and hosts an annual
Semana de la Cerveza (Week of the Beer), a weeklong festival of music, arts, carnival type rides, and beer.
