Peta Brady
Peta Brady (born
17 July 1972) is an
Australian actress. She is best known for playing Cody Willis in the TV
soap Neighbours. Since she left the show, Brady has appeared in the film
Mullet and the TV sitcom
Kath & Kim. Peta also appears in the
SBS series
RAN (Remote Area Nurse). Although shy of publicity, Brady has spoken out about her controversial prostitution and AIDS charity work, some of which remains taboo in today's society. There is speculation surrounding Peta's sexuality as she enjoys taking up roles as lesbians, including her most recent theatre role,
Love, where Brady is the chasm of desire as 'Annie', and once again the jewel in the crown. She has no children and has never married.
Trophy Brady
Peta received her biggest accolade to date most recently at the 2005 Green Room Awards, where she collected the coveted trophy of the Gerda Nicholson Award for an Actress with an Emerging Career. Go Peta
