Prabhu

Prabhu

Prabhu is a famous Indian actor. A native of Tamil Nadu he is the son of world-famous actor Dr. Sivaji Ganesan (often transliterated Shivaji Ganesan).

Future Projects

Right now actor Prabhu has planned to do a Hindi movie in their Sivaji Productions Banner. Its called "Delhi Heights" and stars Jimmy Shergill, Neha Dupia, Om Puri, Simone Singh, Rohit Roy, Kamini Khanna, Vivek Shaq and others. Its written and directed for the first time by Anand Kumar and the music is by Rabbi Shergill.

Career

Prabhu has appeared in over one hundred films. After his debut in the film Sangili (1982), he made several hit films during the '80s. He has acted in several types of roles, including comedic roles (Kanni Raasi) and villains.

He received a Best Actor Award in 1991. His film Chinna Thambi broke existing box office records in 1991.

* Prabhu runs Sivaji Productions with his elder brother Ramkumar.
* Actor and Director P.Vasu is their close family friend.
* Famous punch dialogue - "Enna Kodumai Saravanan idhu" from the movie Chandramukhi
