R I T Alles

R I T Alles is a Sri Lankan educationalist.

Alles started his career as a teacher at Royal College in Colombo, one of the foremost schools in Sri Lanka, and helped to found the D.S Senanayake School in 1967, becoming the first head teacher. In 25 years at the school, he helped turn it into one of the leading schools in Sri Lanka, expanding from 167 students to over 5000.

He has also served as Secretary of State for Education in Sri Lanka, and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Gateway group, a major educational provider in Sri Lanka.
