Regal Zonophone Records

Regal Zonophone Records is a British record label formed in 1932, through a merger of Regal Records and Zonophone Records.

Originally Regal Zonophone handled the American releases from Okeh Records, Victor Records and Columbia Records. In the sixties artists like The Move, Procol Harum, Joe Cocker and T Rex joined the label. When these artists left the label lost it impetus and, despite a few sporadic releases by Blue Mink, Geordie and Dave Edmunds at the beginning of the next decade, it was closed down by EMI. After this closure its artists moved to Fly Records or to EMI.

Regal Zonophone was reopened at the end of the nineties.
