Revell

Revell plastic model kit of 1964 Ford Thunderbolt

Revell-Monogram is a company based in Northbrook, Illinois dedicated to produce plastic and die-cast models of cars, aircraft, military vehicles and ships. They currently also own the Monogram model company, leading to the humorous nickname "Revellogram". Their traditional position in the automotive model kit market (for both Revell and Monogram) is that their product is of higher quality than their major competitor, AMT, but does not come with the wide variety of customizable parts and options that AMT provides. They also do not produce models of as many different subjects as AMT.

Revell is also very active in Germany; these models are imported into the United States, and also have a reputation for very high quality.
