Rory Alec

Rory Alec is the co-founder and CEO of global Christian broadcaster, GOD TV. He and his wife, Wendy launched Europe's first daily Christian television network in 1995, the Christian Channel Europe. Now known as GOD TV, the network has rapidly expanded over the past decade to Africa, Asia, Australasia and now the USA.

Rory was born and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa - he married Wendy in 1987 - and they ran their own television production house in Johannesburg. This corporate media experience undoubtedly provided an effective background for creative evangelism through television, when the couple arrived in the UK in 1991.

As GOD TV's Chief Executive, Rory Alec has travelled the globe taking the GOD Channel to the nations. With offices to oversee in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and USA, he is constantly on the move and as an evangelist at heart, he never misses an opportunity to preach the Gospel.

Over the years, Rory and Wendy have hosted a number of magazine shows including, 'Good Morning Europe', 'Friday Night Live' and the 'Rory & Wendy Show'. The Alecs have also produced countless original programmes including GOD TV's highly successful 'Battle for Britain' evangelistic series, which linked up with over 2000 churches throughout the UK.
