Spartacus (ballet)

Spartak, or Spartacus, is a ballet by Aram Khachaturian, probably his second most widely known ballet after his work Gayane. The work follows the exploits of Spartacus, the leader of a slave uprising against the Romans.

Spartacus was the theme for a TV series in the UK in the 70's: The Onedin Line.
