State Socialism

State Socialism is a variation of Socialism, which is confined to the nationalization of the means of production. State Socialism is often merely named "Socialism"; the attribute "state" is usually used only by socialists who want to criticize State Socialism or by Communists to describe Communist States, which, in their view, aren't Communist.

Historically speaking, Otto von Bismarck's Social Policy was frequently branded "state socialistic" by Liberals.
